BUILDING:
a.
OLD AGE HOME:
Scientifically designed and elegant, the
building will be surrounded by courtyards to have good ventilation and lighting. Two floors will be constructed with a height
of about 15 ft each on an area of 1375 sq m to accommodate 105 inmates initially. The building will have ramp facility and
also a lift with electronically operating doors, rooms provided with oxygen distribution
system through pipelines, and a small medical facility. Cots and water beds will be provided in each room. Bath
rooms and toilets will have modern fittings.
b.
MEDITATION HALL:
This state of the art hall with a ground
coverage of about 1850 sq m will have six layers of pyramid roofs. It will be 42 ft high from the ground and 36 ft high from inside. There will be a copper sheet covering on top.
The aesthetically designed hall will accommodate
1000 people at a time for meditation. The pyramid design apart from its mystic value has esoteric properties associated with
it. This will facilitate deep meditation. Meditation done under such roof will help prolong life.
The
hall will be supported by six pillars each
about 6 feet high and will be surrounded by a water body and access will be through a small bridge The hall will be fully air-conditioned and have marble
floor. There will be no carpets or curtains, with natural light coming in through the
windows, apart from indirect indoor lighting.
c.
VEDA PATASALA AND LIBRARY:
A veda patasala will come up on the ground floor in an area of 750 sq.m. It
will impart knowledge on vedic culture and SANADHANA DHARMA. A library is also
to be housed in the premises containing books on the teachings of stalwarts in
all walks of life. The first floor will have dormitory type accommodation for
vedic students and scholars. It may also accommodate ladies who will be service providers in the field of welfare
and maintenance of aged women.
d.
CENTRE FOR MASTERS LEVEL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH PROGRAMME:
The
centre will be constructed on an area of 900 sq.m to impart education in Management and Research areas for the handicapped
students with a central workshop and a self sustained laboratory for investigations
to be carried out. A vocational training centre for the handicapped is also on the anvil.
e.
KITCHEN AND DINING HALL:
The kitchen and dining hall will be simple
but elegant, with a touch of essential modern gadgets. It will have a capacity
to feed up to 500 people at a time. It will have a ground coverage of about 700 sq.m. Web cameras will be fitted to monitor the maintenance of the kitchen and
detect pilferage and wastage of food.
f.
COTTAGES:
Initially about 10 self-contained cottages
with a carpet area of 35 sq.m each will be constructed exclusively for foreigners who visit the old age home.
g.
ADMINISTRATIVE BLOCK:
An administrative
block covering an area of 75 sq m is to be constructed to house the computers, servers and electronic systems. Software will
be developed to suit the requirement of various management information data needed for efficient administration of the old
age home.
